The inception of AIBG was initiated by Dr Harub Al Kharusi in 1977, in form of Harub Dental Surgery, the first private Dental Clinic in Oman. Dr Harub Al Kharusi was also the first Omani Dental surgeon to start his private practice in Oman.
In 1994 Dr. Harub’s passion for improving the healthcare infrastructure in Oman has seen him as a co-promoter of the first private Hospital in Oman. Dr Harub and his organizations have been passionately involved in providing the best of healthcare services to the people of Oman through his hard work and dedication for more than 4 decades.
He is also actively involved in various healthcare business and social forums of Oman.
Over the years, AIBG has expanded to include multi-disciplinary clinics, corporate wellbeing consulting and other spheres of healthcare services to encompass an array of healthcare related businesses.
Advanced International Business was created in 2014 to bring world class medical equipment and medical products for the healthcare providers in Oman.
Over the years, AIBG Medical has grown to be one of the leading medical equipment and medical consumables providers within the Sultanate of Oman.

Over the Years
1977
Founded
Dr Harub returns from the UK and starts the first private Dental Surgery in Walja, Muscat.
1990
Harub Dental Surgery moved into a new building in Qurum.
1994
Dr Harub and partners start the first private hospital in Oman- Al Shatti Hospital in Shatti Al Qurum.
2003
Dr. Mohammed Al Kharusi joins Dr Harub in the business. Al Harub Medical centre started in Shatti Al Qurum
2014
AIBG Medical Equipment & Supplies Division started.
2019
HDS New branch opened in Shatti al Qurum.
2020
HDS New branch opened in Al Mawaleh

- Dr. Mohammed Al Kharusi, is responsible for day-today management of the AIBG group
- He is recipient of MBA degree from Strathclyde University of UK
- Prior to this, he had his medical degrees from University of Glasgow and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons
- Dr. Mohammed Al Kharusi has put his efforts in the expansion of the AIBG group to encompass the allied divisions it has today.
